The Basic Life Support course is ideal for those looking to gain basic first aid knowledge and skills.
The aim of the course is to enable all students to deal with an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally and how to deal with an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally. This Appointed Person first aid course can be adapted to suit a particular audience and is ideal for people requiring Appointed Person status, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The course is run over three hours and includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence. |

Assessment
|
Our experienced trainers will be on hand to help guide you through this session. Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
