A knowledge of prioritising injuries, actions in an emergency and immediate medical care will be gained. The candidates will leave with the ability to assess an unconscious patient, how and when to place them in the recovery position or start CPR. Common accidents and injuries within your industry will be taken into account and the appropriate response covered.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course, although the ability to communicate in English would be beneficial as course delivery will be in English only.
Course 1: Emergency First Aid at work Course RQF - 6 hours

Course 1: Emergency First Aid at work Course RQF
Assessment: Certification is dependent on successful completion on the 35 minute multiple choice examination at the end of the course (75% minimum pass rate). Those students who pass the examination are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
Course 2: Emergency First Aid at work Course
Assessment: Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
