This course is important because wherever food is served it is important to show the highest standards of food preparation, handling, storage and serving. Candidates on this course will learn how to do this and comply with the standard guidelines issued by the food standards agency (FSA).

Course 1: Food Safety (Level 1) Assessment: Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years. Course 2: Food Safety (Level 1) RQF Assessment: Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
